ABOUT PRODUCT
Textile designer Yuri Himuro has created numerous playful textiles in which new patterns emerge as the user cuts the fabric, or where motifs seem to play hide-and-seek between the front and back.
In this work, Himuro weaves a forest landscape using special threads that change color in response to temperature. When touched by human hands or when a warm drink is placed on the surface, the imagery subtly shifts. Look closely at the lanterns and the campfire. These texitle pieces brings small moments of surprise and a quiet sense of richness into everyday life.
